We live in the www.1000Islands.com, on the Ontario, Canada shore.  This area is blessed with the mighty St. Lawrence River flowing past the isles, where all the Great Lakes pass their water through to the Atlantic Ocean.

While the Zebra Mussels have made this area one of the World’s Top-10 Underwater Diving Sites, we still experience a significant amount of algae in the bays and inlets, where boats are typically moored and where the current, which passes at about 2 mph, has no remedial effect.

Every autumn I pull our Sea Ray out and pressure-wash the bottom, while the algae are still alive and fresh.  Unfortunately, this is never successful and we have a film left-on, which is impossible to deal with in the spring, leaving the white hull very unappealing!

I saw your product at Pride Marine, in Kingston, Ontario and was encouraged to try it by the owner Dave Wilby, who was enthusiastic about the environmentally-safe aspect of this product.  I bought a bottle and agreed to try it!

Unbelievable!  After pressure-washing and having at least half of the algae remaining, I sprayed the Algae & Waterline Remover and watched the algae literally melt-off!  The hull was like it hasn’t been since new!!

I'm not sure if you have tannin stains too, but if you do, Captain John's Algae and Stain Remover (available at West Marine or direct from www.captainjohnsboatbrite.com) is a great way to remove them. The ramp we use to access the Gulf is on the Pithlachasotee River, which has a lot of stain in it. We sprayed on the stuff with a pump-up sprayer at the car wash, waited two minutes, and rinsed it off with clear water. Couldn't have been easier.

I picked up your products at West Marine. Will they start carrying them regularly. I was especially impressed with the scum algae and waterline product for our Hudson river brown waterline color. It literally disappeared before my eyes. Not even softscrub made it that white. Where can I buy this product online?

We are getting ready to sell a much neglected 1985 boat. It looked terrible! I don’t think it had ever been cleaned. We had tried multiple strong (and smelly) products trying to remove the algae stains, but nothing worked. Then we found your Algae & Waterline Stain Remover at the Sportsman’s Show in Minneapolis. It seemed to be too easy when we saw it demonstrated. We brought it home and it was unbelievable how easy it removed the algae stains!!! No scrubbing required. Now hopefully we can sell our old boat. Our Detailers love the spider/bird droppings remover.  The Black Streak Remover is the new answer to cleaning white starboard steps, in addition to all it's other uses such as diesel exhaust stains and canvas run-off type black streaks.

I bought Capt Johns Boat Brite and used it to clean a boat, it is amazing. Ya'll need to tell everyone how great it works on spider stains. Any boat that hasn't been cleaned in a while would be great for that product. Thanks for telling me about it.

Hi there and thanks for making your bird & spider stain remover! We boat in the 1000 Islands and keep our 38' Sea Ray in a covered marina.  It's amazing how many black dots are on our decks, bimini and aft canvas and even on the helm upholstery. The spider dots combined with the bird plops had us seriously contemplating leaving the marina for an outdoor slip elsewhere. We saw a dock neighbor using your product (with great success) and borrowed a few squirts. Needless to say, we enjoyed the results and use it every weekend. We also have the algae stain remover and your vinyl cleaner is great too.   Thanks for making good products.

Here in NC we keep our boats in the boathouse to keep them protected from the sun. But while protecting the gelcoat from oxidation the boats get hammered by spider crap. We tried too many different products to list but we found your spider stain remover at the nearby West Marine at lake Wiley. The stuff really works well.   Thanks...

We had just purchased your bird and spider dropping cleaner. We have a pontoon boat on a lake that we keep covered. We are always keeping it clean but we are getting what we think and were told spider droppings on the vinyl seats.We have tried everything and nothing has gotten the yellowish/green stain off till we bought your product. We used magic erasers ( my wife's fav ), black streak remover,X-14,vinyl and leather cleaner all to no avail.   We appreciate your Boat Brite spider stain remover and will try your other products too.

I keep my boat under a roofed boat lift on the IntraCoastal Waterway.  We have a nice, bright dusk-to-dawn fishing light that doubles as an "obstruction" light, but it draws lots of bugs (which draw lots of spiders, which draw lots of mud-daubers).  After two years of inattentiveness and trying other products that didn't work, I had myself a real mess!  This cleaner was just what the Doctor (or the Captain!) ordered.  Spray it on; wait 30-seconds; scrub a little with a toothbrush; and WOW!  Absolutely GONE, even in the non-skid tread!  Thanks, John!  I had learned to turn off the light, and to keep the spider webs knocked down, but getting rid of those spots returned to me a boat I don't mind taking guests aboard, now.

Well, I can't send you a testimonial about how your product 'rinsed away' the ultra tough yellow bird dropping stains from my new boat cushions. In fact, at first I did not believe the product was going to work. I worked the remover into the stain and left it covered with a dampened paper towel for several minutes. The first result didn't show much improvement. However, when I took a second look a few hours later, it seemed a little better. I placed the cushion in the sunlight for an hour or so and it definitely got better. We performed the same cleaning method and put the cushion in the sun again. Now, the stain is gone! Absolutely nothing else had worked to save my 4 month old interior! Thanks so much for a great product.
