CLEAR BOTTOM COATING -
Instructions for Use...

The Boat Brite Clear Bottom Coat is not an antifouling paint and contains no algaecides, pesticides or biocides. It is environmentally benign, non-toxic and VOC-free. It dries crystal clear and super hard and prevents the “rooting” of fouling into porous gel coat and aluminum. The ingenious chemistry, requires NO sanding or typical scuffing prep. Instead, a simple wipe down with Isopropyl Alcohol will remove any wax or grease, and will leave your hull ready for application

Boats used regularly will remain virtually fouling-free due to the friction of the hull passing through water. Boats used periodically may see a very pale covering of your typical scummy fouling, BUT this light algae film will disappear with just a quick wipe with a cloth or brush. Boats rarely used where even with antifouling paint have a “lawn” growing on the bottom are able to be completely cleaned of this fouling with just high pressure water – no acid is needed – and this is significant as the environmental agencies along most of our waterways have imposed strict regulations on marinas and boatyards that bottom wash boats - especially using acid.

The optically-clear coating can be safely applied to fiberglass and aluminum boats and all underwater running gear including out drives, props, trim tabs etc.

Application is done with a brush, low-nap roller or micro-fiber mop. One coat will protect the bottom of your boat for up to two full seasons
